Nathan's Famous July 4th Hot Dog Eating Competition — Need To Know
The Men's and Women's Championships will take place on Saturday, July 4th, 2026, at the Original Nathan's Famous location on the corner of Surf and Stillwell avenues in Coney Island (1310 Surf Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11224).
Pre-show festivities begin at 9:50 am, featuring several live performances including musical and variety acts. The Women's Championship begins at 11:00 am, and the Men's Championship begins at 12:30 pm.
Live Viewing
ESPN has exclusive live broadcast rights from 10:45 am to the conclusion of the event, expected to be at 1:05 pm ET.
The women's competition coverage will begin at 10:45 am ET and will be telecast live on ESPN3 and espn.com.
The men's competition coverage will begin at 12:00 pm ET and will be telecast live on ESPN2 and espn.com. It will also be simulcast on ABC starting at 12:30 pm. It will re-air on ESPN2 at 4:00 pm. Air times subject to change.

Take D, F, N and Q to the Coney Island–Stillwell Avenue Terminal.
Driving
Coming from the Belt Parkway West, get off exit 6 Cropsey Ave. Follow Cropsey Ave south. Cropsey becomes West 17th Street. Make a left onto Surf Avenue.
Bus
B36 to Surf and Stillwell Avenues · B64 to Mermaid and Stillwell Avenues · B68 to Stillwell Terminal · B82 to Mermaid and Stillwell Avenues.
