As we all know, the donut was born out of battlefield ingenuity and the creative genius of the Salvation Army "Lassies." And now, we honor their legacy by gathering together to devour donuts like never before.
The competition will be held aboard the historic USS Midway in Southern California, and we invite all Major League Eaters to sign up and compete for the chance to make history and earn eternal donut glory.
But this isn't just a day of indulgence, it's also an opportunity to give back. The Salvation Army, along with their partners at BakeMark, will be raising funds and awareness for programs that serve veterans in need. So by stuffing your face with delicious donuts, you'll also be supporting a great cause.
