ESPER CONTINUES GOLDEN RUN, CLAIMS STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE CROWN!
Great news! The Mattituck Lions Club World Strawberry Shortcake Eating Championship returns to Major League Eating’s slate of sanctioned eating contests for 2022. More specifically, on Saturday June 18th. Save the date, people.
Those interested in creating history should know that the world record in the strawberry shortcake discipline stands at a staggering 22lbs in just eight. Carmen Cincotti set that record at the 2018 Championship, and that record is on the line at the 2022 Championship. Those who believe it cannot be broken simply do not believe in progress. We do.
Will you set a new world record? Does a June afternoon spent dining on this summery delight in the warm Long Island air make your heart skip a beat? Do you simply want to watch the best in the world do what they do so well? This is The Mattituck Lions Club World Strawberry Shortcake Eating Championship. At the table or in the crowd—don’t you ever miss it!
