ESPER WINS THE DRAFTKINGS BIG GAME SNACKDOWN!
Major League Eating will visit Tampa Bay to host the first-ever DraftKings Big Game Snackdown—a multi-food, steeplechase eating contest that will feature, for the first time, an official eight-layer dip. The contest will stream live at 4:30pm ET on February 7, 2021.
Joey Chestnut, Geoffrey Esper, Darron Breeden, Nick Wehry, Gideon Oji and Michelle Lesco are set to compete in the eight-minute contest, which will feature eight different football-watching classics, including pepperoni pizza, boneless wings, chili, a sub sandwich, cheese balls, pigs in a blanket, jalepeño poppers, and an eight-layer dip. Presently, MLE is surveying Americans in an effort to establish an official eighth layer in time for the big game.
The Big Game Snackdown is presented by DraftKings, which is offering a $100,000 free-to-play pool that allows eating fans at home to participate via the DraftKings app and online sportsbook. The eating contest features a $5,000 cash purse and a one-of-a-kind, bejeweled and sparkling football trophy that is both bespoke and curated. The DraftKings Big Game Snackdown will stream live on DraftKings’ YouTube channel and Twitch stream beginning at 4:30pm ET on February 7, 2021.
