To Trenton! For those of you who have been living under a dark cloud of ignorance, New Jersey is the spiritual home of recreational and competitive pork roll consumption. There is no city quite like Trenton, NJ—the capital of that great state. And there is no food like the mighty Case’s Pork Roll Sandwich. And, further, there is no baseball team like the mighty Trenton Thunder. Which is why there is only one place in space and time that crowns the Pork Roll Sandwich-Eating Champion of the world and that is the 2020 installment of River Fest Featuring The Trenton Thunder World Famous Case's Pork Roll Eating Championship. Major League Eaters from near and far are warmly encouraged to sign up for the chance to compete.

At last year’s event, Joey Chestnut did Joey Chestnut things, eating a world record-setting 61.5 Case’s Pork Roll Sandwiches in 10 minutes. Words such as “dominant” and “incredible” were used to describe his performance but they do not do it justice. You had to have seen it to feel it, and you had to have felt it to understand it. Others ate less but with spirit.
