JOEY CHESTNUT DOWNS 66 BRATS IN 10 MINUTES FOR TULSA GLORY!
Major League Eating is proud to welcome the Siegi’s World Championship Bratwurst Eating Contest At Linde Oktoberfest Tulsa to its annual slate of sanctioned eating Championships. The event will take place at the legendary Linde Oktoberfest Tulsa, a four-day festival that features traditional German food, drinks and music as well as games, rides, and an arts and crafts market haus.
This Championship event will showcase the fine culinary talents of Tulsa's own Siegi’s Sausage Factory. Siegi’s is a family owned and run local business; Siegimund Sumaruk, a 5fth generation sausage maker from Harthein, Austria (just outside of Linz, like you didn't know), uses recipes passed down from his family. And they are delicious. So delicious.
Major Leaguer Eaters from near and far are warmly invited to sign up to compete in this inaugural Championship. As a prelude to the Main Event, an Under Card Amateur Championship event will showcase the finest local Tulsa eating talent in a battle for bragging rights. Interested amateur eaters are encouraged to meet with contest organizers stage-side on the day.
Come one, come all. There is no finer place to be this coming October 24th than Siegi’s World Championship Bratwurst Eating Contest At Linde Oktoberfest Tulsa—at the table or in the crowd, don't you ever miss it!
