What better way to celebrate America's 250th birthday than with one of the nation's most beloved Fourth of July traditions? Before the fireworks light up the night sky, a different kind of spectacle will take center stage in Las Vegas, where the 2027 Road to Coney kicks off just hours after the main event.

That's right folks! Major League Eating, Nathan's Famous, and the legendary New York-New York Hotel and Casino are teaming up to celebrate America's 250th anniversary with the greatest gift of all: the first two seats at the 2027 Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest. This Independence Day, we shall not rest with one contest. Nay, the work is never done. While champions may rise in Brooklyn, the next generation of competitive eaters will battle in the desert for a chance at glory, a chance to flirt with destiny, and a chance to join the ranks of the greatest eaters who have ever lived.

The mission is simple: Out-eat the completion, hoist the trophy, and punch your ticket from New York-New York to New York, NY. But do you have what it takes to come out on top? Do you have the grit and the capacity to fend off the ravenous challengers seeking to steal victory from your jaws? Do you just love going to Vegas and can eat 35 Hot Dogs AND Buns on an off-day? PROVE IT!

For decades, the Nathan's Famous contest has stood as one of America's most recognizable Fourth of July traditions, presenting a unique blend of patriotism, pageantry, and performance. Every champion's journey begins somewhere, and this year, that journey could begin right on the Las Vegas Strip.

Only one male and one female competitor will emerge victorious, securing their place among the sport's elite and taking the next step toward competitive eating immortality. The pressure will be immense. The crowd will be loud. The hot dogs will be oh-so delicious.
