The Next Great Major League Eating Tradition Begins in Boston!

Boston has its fair share of legendary sports moments, but this September, history will be made one slider at a time. Major League Eating is proud to announce the inaugural North Shore Beef's Three Way Slider World Championship Presented by Nelectron Solutions, taking place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at Game On! outside iconic Fenway Park. The world's greatest competitive eaters will gather for a ten-minute battle that promises delicious stacks of roast beef, unforgettable performances, and the crowning of the very first Three Way Slider World Champion.

One City. One Sandwich. One World Champion..
The star of the day is Boston's own North Shore classic: the Three Way Slider. Tender, thin-sliced roast beef piled high on a soft slider bun, topped with melty American cheese, creamy mayonnaise, and tangy James River barbecue sauce. It's a sandwich that has earned legendary status throughout New England, and now it's ready for its biggest stage yet. For ten action-packed minutes, competitors will race to devour as many as possible, with the inaugural world record waiting to be claimed by whoever can out-eat the rest of the field.

A Championship Is Born
Every legendary event starts somewhere, and this September marks the very first chapter of what promises to become a fan-favorite stop on the Major League Eating circuit. With a $2,500 prize purse on the line, competitors won't just be battling for cash, they'll be fighting to become the first name ever etched into the Three Way Slider record book. There's only one chance to become the inaugural champion, and history will be written in Boston.

The festivities don't stop with the main event though. Fans can catch a live recording of the F-Buddies Podcast beginning at 10:00 AM, watch Major League Eating legend Eric "Badlands" Booker take center stage for a crowd-wowing chug contest, enjoy live music throughout the day, and then head across the street as the Red Sox host the Royals at historic Fenway Park.
