A beloved annual tradition, The Salvation Army and BakeMark’s National Donut Day World Donut Eating Championship brings together history, heart, and high-stakes indulgence in a setting that honors a defining chapter of our nation’s story.

A Legacy Worth Savoring:
National Donut Day began as a tribute to The Salvation Army “Donut Lassies,” who delivered fresh donuts and a taste of home to American soldiers during World War I. As our country approaches its 250th anniversary, this gathering takes on added meaning—honoring generations of service, compassion, and resilience that continue to define the American spirit.

The Champion Returns:
Last year saw a thrilling title defense as James Webb powered through 64 donuts in eight minutes to successfully defend his crown. Now, a new field of challengers is ready to test their limits. Will Webb rise once more, or is this the year a new champion claims the spotlight?

Presented in partnership with BakeMark and The Salvation Army, this event highlights a cherished American tradition while supporting vital community programs and recognizing those who serve others every day.

With a $3,000 total prize purse and $1,500 awarded to the winner, the competition is fierce and the incentives are real.
