Think you have the speed, stamina, and stomach to take down the competition? A Nathan’s Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest Qualifier is coming to Old Shawnee Days in Shawnee, KS, and this is your shot at glory.

For 10 intense minutes, competitors will battle to devour as many juicy, mouthwatering Nathan’s Famous hot dogs as possible. Every bite is a step closer to securing a coveted spot at the Nathan’s Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eatin Contest at Coney Island. 10 Minutes. Unlimited hot dogs. Two tickets to Coney Island on the line. Also, carnival rides! What better way to spend a Saturday night in June?

Old Shawnee Days isn’t just a festival—it’s a Kansas tradition. Nestled in the historical backdrop of Shawnee Town 1929, this event is the city's marquee annual event that features a whole weekend of fun.
