On Saturday, March 8th, 2025, the world’s best eaters will descend upon Miami for a battle of epic proportions—The Wings for Wishes Professional Wing Eating Championship. This isn’t just a contest; we have set out on this mouthwatering, heartfelt mission to support the amazing work done by Make-A-Wish Southern Florida.

Now in it's 11th year, The Wings for Wishes event has become one of the most beloved stops on the Major League Eating circuit. For 10 minutes, the competition is one of the fiercest contests we have, with wings and sauce being consumed at a breakneck pace. But when the drumettes are dropped, everyone is there to support Wings for Wishes in raising funds and awareness for a noble cause. As we get ready fot his incredible showdown, we invite everyone to join us in celebrating and supporting Make-A Wish Southern Florida.

The Main Course: A Feast for the Fearless Imagine a mountain of crispy, saucy, tender chicken wings, glistening in all their finger-licking glory. The competitors have just 10 minutes to devour as many as humanly possible. The goal? To challenge the seemingly untouchable world record of 224 wings in 10 minutes, set by James Webb in 2024. Will a new champion emerge, or will Webb extend his reign? Only time—and an obscene amount of wings—will tell.

History in the Making If last year’s showdown proved anything, it’s that this event is not for the faint of heart (or stomach). James Webb’s jaw-dropping 224-wing performance set a new world record and left even the great Joey Chestnut in second place with 198 wings. The competition was intense, with Nick Wehry, Miki Sudo, and other titans of the Major League Eating world battling for dominance. This year, the stakes are higher than ever, with a $4,000 prize purse on the line.
