Nathan’s Famous To Donate 100,000 Hot Dogs To Food Bank For New York City On July 4th

600,000 Hot Dogs Donated to Food Bank Since 2008
Jericho, NY, June 27, 2013 On July 4th, Nathan’s Famous will donate 100,000 of its signature world famous beef hot dogs to Food Bank For New York City. The official presentation will take place during the company’s annual Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest in Coney Island, NY. Since 2008, Nathan’s Famous has donated a total of 600,000 hot dogs to Food Bank For New York City.
Nathan’s Famous President Wayne Norbitz will present the donation to a representative of the Food Bank For New York City, which is part of the Feeding America network.

The donation ceremony will occur at the original Nathan’s Famous on Surf and Stillwell Avenues in Coney Island, NY, where the annual hot dog eating contest takes place. Each year tens of thousands gather to watch the biggest competitive eating event in the world, while millions watch the event live on ESPN.
