Rich LeFevre downed 25 Nathan's Famous hot dogs and buns at the Kenny Rogers Roasters/Nathan's Famous Restaurant in Hollywood on Saturday, May 8th to take the 2004 California hot dog title and secure himself a place at the table in Coney Island this July 4th. LeFevre's wife Carlene came in a strong second with 20 hot dogs and buns and IFOCE rookie Chris Coble secured third place with 15 hot dogs and buns.

The next official Nathan's qualifier will take place at Eddie Andelman's Hot Dog Safari in Boston on Sunday, May 16th. For additional contest information visit www.nathansfamous.com.
