Registration for Four MLE Contests Set To Open this Week

Four events on the 2011 MLE Circuit have been announced on the events page of IFOCE.com.

The Fat Tuesday King Cake Eating Championship @ Showboat Atlantic City will take place on Mardi Gras (Tuesday, March 8) offering a $4,000 cash purse.

On March 19th, The Rhythm City World Catfish Eating Championship will take place at Rhythm City Casino in Davenport, IA and feature a $2,500 cash purse.

MLE's Veggie Weekend will get kicked off again at the Stockton Asparagus Festival with The World Deep-Fried Asparagus Eating Championship ($2,750 cash purse).

And on Easter weekend, another Isle property will join the MLE Circuit when the Isle Waterloo World Cupcake Eating Championship debuts. A $5,000 cash purse along with a new world record will be on-the-line in Waterloo, Iowa.

Fat Tuesday King Cake Eating Championship - Thursday, January 20th @ 11:00am EST

The Rhythm City World Catfish Eating Championship - Thursday, January 20th @ 1:00pm EST

The World Deep-Fried Asparagus Eating Championship - Thursday, January 20th @ 3:00pm EST

The Isle Waterloo World Cupcake Eating Championship - Friday, January 21st @ 12:00pm EST
