Buffalo Wings & Pickles Registration to Open Next Week

The National Buffalo Wing Festival is set for Labor Day Weekend (Sept 4-5) and with it comes the annual Buffet Bowl Eating Championship and U.S. Buffalo Wing Eating Championships. The events -- which have been swept by Sonya Thomas in each of the last three years -- will take place at Coca-Cola Field in front of the festival crowd. This year, the Buffet Bowl will take place on Saturday, Sept 4th with the U.S. Buffalo Wing Championship taking place on Sunday, Sept 5th. The events will offer a combined $4,300 in prize money ($1,750 for the Buffet Bowl and $2,550 for the U.S. Buffalo Wing Championship).

Then on Sunday, September 12th, Major League Eating will head to the Isle Casino Racing Pompano Park, Florida for the Isle Casino World Pickle Eating Championship. A $5,000 cash purse will be on the line as pickles makes its triumphant return to the MLE Circuit.

Registration for the Buffet Bowl and U.S. Buffalo Wing Eating Championship will open on IFOCE.com Friday, July 30 at 1:00pm EST.

Registration for the Isle Casino World Pickle Eating Championship will open on IFOCE.com Monday, August 2nd at 2:00pm EST.
