Ribfest-Chicago Welcomes MLE for its 12-year Anniversary

Major League Eating will head to Chicago on Friday, June 11th to kick-off the opening day of Ribfest-Chicago with Rib-Mania - Ribfest-Chicago's Professional Rib Eating Competition. The 12-minute competition will take place at 6:00pm.

The Northcenter Chamber of Commerce hosts Ribfest-Chicago and what ignited in the summer of 1999 as a community block party has exploded into Chicago’s most anticipated street festival—averaging 65,000 pounds of barbecue/ribs and 50,000+ attendees who love to kickoff summer at this three-day event. What better way to celebrate the festival's 12-year anniversary than by bringing in the world's best eaters!
