Two More MLE May Events Added

Major League Eating has added two more contests to it's active month of May in the disciplines of Gyros and Curly Fries.

On Saturday, May 15th, MLE will return to the Festival of Greece in Houston, TX to devour gyros in the Niko Niko World Gyro-Eating Championship. Deep Dish Bertoletti is the two-time defending champ, edging out Chestnut in '08 and Humble Shoudt in '09. No word yet on whether the transformed B.O.B. will be in Houston seeking the upset. Prize purse is $4,000.

Then on Memorial Day, Monday May 31st, MLE will head to Morey's Piers in Wildwood, NJ to kick-off the summer with the World Curly Fries Eating Championship. $2,500 will be on-the-line at Morey's Surfside Pier along with the title of Curly Fry Champion of the World.

Registration for both of these events will open at www.IFOCE.com on Monday, March 15 at 1:00pm EST.
