Showboat AC + Fat Tuesday = King Cake Eating Championship

Major League Eating will return to the Showboat Atlantic City Hotel & Casino again in 2010 to celebrate "Fat Tuesday" in appropriate style when it holds the Fat Tuesday King Cake Eating Championship on February 16th.

King Cake has a long and storied tradition as a Mardi Gras specialty and now it will enter MLE lore when a champion is identified and a new world record is established.

The event will take place at 4:00pm and there will be $4,000 in prize money up-for-grabs. Registration for the Fat Tuesday King Cake Eating Championship will open on IFOCE.com Thursday, January 7th at 12:00pm EST.
