Corned Beef and Cabbage Lineup

The J. Freirich Company Corned Beef & Cabbage Eating Contest, to be held at Moran.s Restaurant on March 16, will include a diverse field.

Eaters will include newcomers Timothy Holden, Johnny Hon, Justin Salkind, Chris Bryson and Timothy Janus, as well as eating vets Leon Feingold, Ed Cookie Jarvis, Krazy Kevin Lipsitz, Beautiful Brian Seiken, Allan "my bologna has a first name" Goldstein, Don Moses Lerman and Charles Hardy. Alternates for the 12-person event include Eric Booker and Crazy Legs Conti.

The 10-minute all-you-can-eat contest, which will be held at Moran.s Restaurant at 146 10th Avenue at 19th Street in Manhattan, is expected to favor volume eaters. The corned beef and cabbage will be heavy, but succulent and relatively easy to eat compared to other beef events.
