On Sunday, June 28th, the first World Tri-Tip Eating Challenge will be held at Colusa Casino Resort in Colusa, CA. These tasty primal cuts of sirloin have been a longtime specialty at Colusa Casino Resort, keeping guests satisfied for years on end. The fuller flavor and lower fat content of the Tri-Tip have seen it gain popularity across the U.S. as well. Of course, Northern Californian's have known about this gem for decades and it's about time Major League Eaters test their skills with the beef.

$1,377 in total prize money is on the line with the winner taking home $777--we are in a casino after all--in addition to the esteemed title of World Tri-Tip Eating Champion.
