Takeru Kobayashi took the World Chicken Satay-eating title this weekend at the first Major League Eating event in Singapore. Kobayashi ate 5.419 kg (11.95 lbs) of chicken satay in 12 minutes, while Joey Chestnut ate 4.086 kg (9 lbs). There were five additional 12-minute contests won by local Singaporeans.
