Joey Stays on Top

Joey Chestnut walked away with the top prize at the Kenny & Ziggy's World Matzoh Ball Eating Championship today in Houston. Chestnut ate 78 matzoh balls in 8 minutes, followed by Pat Bertoletti with 76. Doctor Bigtime came in third with a solid 40.

The previous matzoh ball record was held by Eric Badlands Booker with 21 balls in 5 minutes, 25 seconds.

This was an MLEgives charity event. And, although not asked, the eaters themselves donated generously.
