For nearly a century the most coveted prize in competitive eating has been the bejeweled Nathan's Famous Mustard Yellow Belt of International Hot Dog Eating Supremacy. This is still the case. But as a little extra Nathan's Famous, Inc. has decided to put $20,000 in prize money on the line at the Coney Island Classic that will air live on ESPN on July 4, 2007.

People have always loved toppings on their Nathan's - mustard, Heinz ketchup, relish, but nothing tops $20,000 in cash. The prize will break down as follows.
