Erik The Red Makes Coney at Shea

In a dramatic one minute overtime eat off, Erik the Red beat Pat from Moonachie to take the Shea Stadium qualifier. The man from Seattle moves on to Coney Island for the second straight year.

In third place was Allen the Shredder Goldstein.

Joey Chestnut, the new world record holder, threw out the first pitch. Chestnut will visit the Today Show tomorrow morning.
