Chestnut Sets World Record

Joey Chestnut set a world record today in Phoenix, AZ, eating 59.5 Nathan's Famous hot dogs and buns in 12 minutes. Chestnut breaks the world record of 53.75 hot dogs and buns held by Takeru Kobayashi, setting the stage for a monumental matchup in Coney Island at the 2007 Nathan's Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest.
