Nathan's Famous '07 Tour Stops

Nathan’s Famous, Inc. has announced the list of American cities that will host official qualifying events for Coney Island 2007.

The tour will gather the world’s best Major League Eaters and put them on the biggest stage in the sport of competitive eating -- The Nathan's Famous International Hot Dog Eating Contest at high noon on July Fourth.

“Our July Fourth Hot Dog Eating Contest has become an institution that reaches new heights each year,” said Wayne Norbitz, President and COO of Nathan’s Famous, Inc. “Last year’s event was watched by more people than ever and this year’s anticipated rematch between Kobayashi and Chestnut is generating incredible excitement.”

The 2007 Nathan’s Famous hot dog-eating circuit begins on March 24th in Sunrise, Florida. Registration for qualifiers will soon begin at www.nathansfamous.com and participants will be alerted if they’ve received a spot or a stand by position in a qualifier. Hopeful participants should not telephone or email Nathan’s Famous or the IFOCE / MLE regarding registration.
