ST. JOHNS, ANTIGUA (July 1, 2002) - The ultimate contest pitting man against frankfurter, Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Competition has been a staple of the Fourth of July holiday since 1916. For the first time in its history, fans can place bets on the overindulging contest as BetWWTS.com today announced the official odds on this year's hot dog eating competition.

Customers may also wager on unique over/under lines on the number of hot dogs the four favorites will eat in this year's contest. The over/under line for Kobayashi, who downed an unprecedented 50 hot dogs and buns in 12 minutes at last year's contest, is listed at 50 while the over/under line for the next closest competitor is 28. Fans can also bet on the exact number of hot dogs each entrant eats and the total number of hot dogs consumed by all 20 participants in this year's contest.
