Kobayashi is in Boston

The world's greatest eater, Takeru Kobayashi, has arrived in Boston and lobsters all over the Atlantic Ocean floor are running scared.

"They run backwards, the lobsters, so they're likely bumping into things like rocks and other lobsters," said Bob Gilman, an eating fan who works at Boston's Mintz Levin law firm.

On Saturday, Kobayashi will compete against a team of four amateurs in the first-ever GoldenPalace.net Lobster Roll-Eating Challenge to be held on September 23rd at Boston's Phantom Gourmet Food Festival. At stake is a purse of $10,000.

The GoldenPalace.net Lobster Roll-Eating Challenge will occur at 11:30 AM on Saturday, September 23, at Club Avalon on Landsdowne Street in Boston, MA. It is a ticketed event and sold out.
