Festa di San Gennaro

Eater X, Conti, Mih and other Major League Eaters will gather at the Annual Feast of San Gennaro in Little Italy tomorrow to vie for the title of World Cannoli Eating Champion.

The current world record is 26 cannoli in six minutes. This record was set by Ed Cookie Jarvis. Now retired, Jarvis will receive a lifetime achievement award prior to the event. Recent retiree Don Moses Lerman All American is also signed up to assist Hungry Charles in the capacity of judge.

The six-minute, all-you-can-eat contest will feature six-inch cannoli from Ferrara bakery. The winner will gain possession of the Coveted Cannoli Champion’s Corinthian Column and the title of Mangiatore dei Cannoli Campione del Mondo.

All the action will occur at the Feast of San Gennaro on Baxter and Grand Streets, one block west of Mulberry in Manhattan's Little Italy at 2pm.
