Under the watchful eye of pioneer Joe Smith, Joey Chestnut ate 29 Colosimo Italian sausages to win the GoldenPalace.net World Italian Sausage Eating Championship.

In second place, with 25.5 eight inch sweet sausages was Dead Kennedy's fan Pat Bertoletti. In third was Frankie Valley fan Rich the Locust Lefevre. Not afraid of the young guns, LeFevre downed 21.5 sausages.

Happy valley local, Levi 'don't call me Oliver Nelson,' placed 4th.
