Shoudt Qualifies for Coney

Bob Shoudt showed the faith of Thomas Aquinas and the wisdom of a Jedi Knight this past weekend to win the Shea Stadium nathan's qualifier and earn a seat in the July 4 championship in Coney Island.

Shoudt ate 29 HDBs in 12 minutes, a personal best, while Charles Hardy's son, Eddie, placed second with 17. Brian Seiken placed third with 11 HDBs.
