Weekend Warriors To Conquer Washington and Texas

Epic showdowns are on tap for this weekend's first Verizon VoiceWing Battle in Seattle on Saturday and the next round of the Krystal Square Off at the Texas State Fair in Dallas on Sunday.

It is expected that the newly crowned wing champ Eric Booker will make his way across country to Seattle to try for a piece of the $2,500 prize money and seat at the Verizon VoiceWing Battle Championship in November. Booker will have no easy shot at the qualifier with No. 3 ranked Joey Chestnut and other top ranked eaters rumored to compete.

In Dallas, Rich "The Locust" LeFevre will descend on his first shot at the Krystal Square Off Hamburger Eating Championship. Last year, LeFevre earned his seat at the finals by eating a masterful 38 Krystals in 8 minutes at the Perry, GA, qualifier. This year he will go up against a field of tough, hungry Texans looking to send him packing to the next state.
