GoldenPalace.net Breaks New Ground

Pioneering grilled cheese eaters waged war this weekend on two new IFOCE battlefields: Oklahoma City and Salt Lake City. GoldenPalace.net brought professional eating directly to curious fans in these two important American markets for the first time.

Saturday at the Oklahoma State Fair, Crazy Legs Conti and Levi Oliver took the stage and faced a surprisingly tough local contingent. In the end, however, Conti won out with 17.5 grilled cheese sandwiches in 10 minutes. Despite his traveling to Oklahoma, Conti was able to catch two of the three Tubes concerts that occured in the New York area over the weekend.

Further west on Sunday, the Beehive state beheld its first IFOCE sanctioned contest at the GoldenPalace.net stage when Ron Hizzoner Koch put down 18.5 grilled cheeses to easily beat the citizen eaters of Salt Lake City. Hizzoner wore swim goggles during the contest, as is his wont.
