A&E to Air Crazy Legs Doc

Oyster Productions' documentary, "Zen and the Art of Competitive Eating" will air Wednesday, October 13th at 9PM on A&E. The documentary, which follows Crazy Legs Conti as he rises in the fast-growing sport of competitive eating, features many veteran IFOCE gurgitators, including the great Cookie Jarvis.

Christopher Keneally and Danielle Franco of Oyster Productions are the talent behind this in-depth character study, a journey around the nation to various IFOCE events. The film was a featured screening at BAM this past July and received rave reviews from the entertainment industry trade magazine, Variety.

In one notable scene, Conti consumes three sticks of unsalted butter in a training session that also served as an homage to Don Lerman, who consumed seven sticks of butter in five minutes for a world record that has stood for three years.
