Hardy Devours 32 Krystals To Take Atlanta Qualifier

‘Hungry’ Charles Hardy, the Godfather of eating and the #6 ranked eater in the world, won the Atlanta qualifier of the 2004 Krystal Square Off on Sunday by eating 32 Krystals in eight minutes.

Talented local eaters including Moose Abercrombie (28 Krystals) and Jason Kokoszka (26 Krystals) kept the contest close until the very end.

Hardy kept a strong pace though, exhibiting the grace of a thoroughbred during the final minute of the contest. For his victory, Hardy earns a spot in the November 13 Krystal World Hamburger Eating Championship, at which there will be $17,500 in prize money on the line.
