Damon Wells

Easily over shadowed and overlooked because of his height and demeanor. At the table Wells is an over achiever and can pack the punch of a raging bull in a china factory. He came onto the MLE scene as a walk on off the street at the LA Nisei Week Gyoza Eating Championship in August of 2009 and sent shock waves by placing second with 128 gyozas. From that very moment he took that as an Omen of things to come and now bears the nickname “The Omen”. In his Nathan’s debut he broke the 20 HDB mark by consuming 22 Nathan's hot dogs and buns in ten minutes, a feat very few rookies have accomplished.
