MIKI SUDO CLAIMS 2015 TAMALE TITLE WITH DOMINANT WIN!
Miki Sudo—the #1-ranked female eater in the world and newly minted world #3—dominated the competition at the Western Days Festival World Tamale Eating Championship Presented By Market St in 2015 for the win. She led from the front, each bite an expression of her true merit and bearing: I am Miki Sudo and I am the greatest eater in the world and I will do my best and if I do that I will win. And win she did. Other eaters could only attempt to keep pace as she downed plate after plate of delicious Market Street tamales over 12 demanding minutes of competition.
Adrian The Rabbit Morgan ate with purpose for second. Erik The Red and Michelle Lesco see-sawed through out between third and fourth, Ms Lesco taking the bronze in the wash-up. Side note of props to Ms Lesco: She drove through the night from her classroom in Tucson, AZ, departing on Friday afternoon to compete in this event in the greater DFW Metroplex at one pm central on Saturday. It was a performance reminiscent of Wild Bill in his prime.
