The third annual Waffle House World Waffle Eating Championship was be held at the State Fair of Texas on October 7. Pat 'Deep Dish' Bertoletti continued his winning streak against Joey Chestnut, winning with a new record of 29 waffles in 10 minutes. Bertoletti walked away with $3500 and the newly minted Waffle House Belt, an award that's almost blinding in its raw beauty.
Joey took second with 28 1/2, and Eater X finished 3rd with 21 1/4. Brad 'Old School' Sciullo nabbed the 4th place prize with 17 1/2 waffles.
