Bacci World Pizza Eating Championship

The world’s finest competitive eaters will converge in Chicago, IL, on Saturday, June 19, 2004 for the Bacci World Pizza Eating Championship. On the line will be the $2,500 in prize money, and the ultra-prestigious title of World Pizza Eating Champion.

Established in 1996, Bacci Pizzeria is family owned and operated by the DiDana Family. The original Bacci Pizzeria is located in the heart of Chicago's Little Italy on Taylor Street. Bacci Pizzeria offers homestyle cooking at reasonable prices. The pizza dough and pizza sauce are made fresh daily with only the best ingredients, and of course, Bacci’s very own recipes.

The field of gurgitators, representing the finest in IFOCE talent, will be headlined by Ed ‘Cookie’ Jarvis. Other top American eaters are expected to participate in this highly anticipated match.
