About CP Biggest Eater Competition
Launched in 2010 to much fanfare and resounding success in Singapore, the inaugural CP Biggest Eater Competition attracted close to 400 participants and more than 1,000 spectators in the finale where Ng Chin Sheng (with 115 CP Shrimp Wontons) and Koh Yeow Thien (with 70 CP Shrimp Wontons) were crowned the male and female CP Biggest Eater respectively. The intense atmosphere was pushed to feverish heights when world professional eaters Joey Chestnut, Takeru Kobayashi and Juliet Lee showcased their astounding eating skills amidst roaring cheers from the massive crowd. In the end, Joey Chestnut narrowly edged out Takeru Kobayashi to set a new record of 380 shrimp wontons eaten in eight minutes.
