Wild Card Announced for 2011 Nathan's Circuit

Major League Eating has officially announced a Wild Card seat for the upcoming Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest Circuit. The competitor with the single highest non-winning performance in a qualifying contest will earn a coveted seat at the Coney Island table on July 4th. In the event of a tie, a coin will be tossed to decide the seat.

Allen "Shredder" Goldstein was the recipient of last year's Wild Card spot after eating 28.75 Nathan's HDBs in Foxboro, MA.

The 2011 Nathan's Famous Circuit kicks-off in Las Vegas, NV on Saturday, April 23rd. Registration opened on IFOCE.com yesterday (March 30th).
