MLE Celebrates Labor Day with US Troops

Major League Eating spent Labor Day weekend entertaining US troops stationed at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba on yet another MLE tour hosted by NAVY Entertainment. A Philadelphia contingent of Wing Kong, Flash Gordon, and Steakbellie made the trip south, stopping in Jacksonville on their way to pick up MC Hall Hunt.

Like in the past, the eaters conducted a series of Pro-Am contests. They were paired with active military personnel interested in trying their hand at competitive eating and having some fun along the way. The eaters also got a chance to hang with Bowling for Soup. Turns out the band, best known for its 2004 hit "1985," is comprised of guys who are big MLE fans.
