Two Nathan's Qualifiers For America's Fighting Men and Women

Nathan's Famous will hold two Official Hot Dog Eating Contests in June featuring men and women of the armed services. The contests, produced in conjunction with Specialty Foods Group, will take place at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, VA on June 6th and Ft. Bragg Army Base in Fayetteville, NC on June 19th. The contest fields will be comprised exclusively with active members of the armed services and a spot at the Coney Island table on July 4th will be awarded to each winner.

The Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest has become part of America's Independence Day celebration and this year, fans from across the country will have the opportunity to cheer on two true heros on the Coney Island stage. As part of its 2010 Fourth of July celebration, Nathanís Famous also intends to provide a hot dog lunch to 100,000 U.S. troops stationed overseas.
