Oguni Takes Nathan's Tokyo Qualifier

Keiji Oguni topped a field of a dozen eaters at the Nathan's Famous qualifier in Tokyo, Japan, by down 19 hot dogs and buns in 12 minutes. Oguni will travel to the United States to compete in the July Fourth international event alongside countryman Takeru Kobayashi.

Oguni achieved respectable numbers at the event, but would appear ill-equipped to compete against Kobayashi or America's top eaters.
