SONYA LOVES INDY

Sonya Thomas returned to Indiana, the same state where she set the hard-boiled egg eating record as a rookie in 2003, and downed 8.4 pounds of baked beans in two minutes 47 seconds to secure first place and $1,000 in the first-ever 84 Lumber Baked Bean Bout.

Local gurgitator Peter Nichols place second and up-and-comer Big Brian Subich finished an impressive third.
