Rios Grande to Chatty

The 29-year-old father of two has been working his way up the MLE ladder for quite some time, and he found a certain groove on the Krystal Square Off circuit.

Having worked diligently for the past year, most notably in a few Nathan's Famous qualifiers, Rios grabbed the final wild card spot for the KSO III and is geared up to be headed to Chatty with the big boys.

"He's not expected to break the top-five, but this is a big step," said Matt Rizzetta of the IFOCE. "Being at the Krystal Square Off inches him closer to the sport's elite."

The Long Branch, NJ resident has done a 21 Krystal two-minute and has a personal best of 36 in eight minutes.
