Major League Eating is happy to announce the return of The World Crawfish Eating Championship to the spiritual home of crawfish eating—New Orleans, LA, like you don't know—for 2016. This year's event will take place at Crawfish Mambo, the biggest crawfish cookoff in the biggest crawfish-chomping city on the planet. The world title has been won by New Orleans' favorite son, Adrian "The Rabbit" Morgan, each of the past two years. In 2015, he ate 1.8lb of crawfish meat from the shell to prevail; in 2014, he ate 2.7lb for the win. (Different years, different crawfish, different totals, people. Don't over think it.) Anyone who has witnessed Adrian Morgan eat crawfish knows what a relentless display of manual-to-oral dexterity looks like. Dude knows his way around a crawfish.
