The Day-Lee Foods World Gyoza Eating Championship

Location: Los Angeles, CA
Date: 08-17-2013
Winner: Matthew Stonie, with a new WR 268 Day-Lee Foods gyoza in 10 mins

REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT IS CLOSED DUE TO CAPACITY!

One Day-Lee Foods gyoza? Innocent. Humble, even. Plate upon plate of them? Appearing as if from nowhere in a 10-minute fog of action? Gyoza that determine who smiles a champion and who goes home a shattered wreck? Those gyoza are decidedly less innocent, for they are the mighty Day-Lee Foods gyoza of the Day-Lee Foods World Gyoza Eating Championship—a marquee event on the MLE calendar that pits MLE's finest against deliciousness and one another. There is no gyoza more revered among the eating community for its peerless quality. And when something's so good, why stop at one? Or two hundred?

At last year's event, world #1-ranked eater Joey "Jaws" Chestnut set a new—and frankly astonishing—world record of 266 Day-Lee Foods gyoza in 10 minutes. Do you dare to challenge the great one in this discipline of speed and pure capacity? Then sign up today! In the crowd, or at the table—be there. Don't you ever miss it!
