The Bluffs Run Casino World Smoked Pork Eating Championship was held on August 21, 2005, in Council Bluffs, IA.

The first-ever smoked pork event was won by Richard LeFevre, who consumed 7 lbs. and one ounce of smoked pork. In second place was Carlene LeFevre, Rich's beautiful wife, who downed 5 pounds and 9 ounces of the savory meat. Third place was taken by Lawrence McNeil, who ate well, but finished more than a pound behind Carlene. Coming in at fouth place was Loren Yarbrough, with 3 pounds, 12 ounces.

Rich LeFevre earned $2000 with the win, helping him to maintain his position as one of the IFOCE's top earners. Carlene takes $1,000; McNeil earns $500; and Yarbrough walks away with $250.
