Results Buffalo Jim Reeves beat out Crazy Legs Conti for the title of Saratoga Hot Dog Champion. Reeves ate 23.5 HDBs in 10 minutes, while Conti finished right behind him with 22.5.
The Saratoga Race Course is having a week-long festival to celebrate the 139th Running of the Travers Stakes. There will be 50+ events, including live music, street festivals and cook-offs, but the most awe-inspiring of all will be the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest on Monday, August 18.
This contest will not qualify the winner for the 2009 Nathan's Famous 4th of July Hot Dog Eating Contest. However, the champion will enjoy a year's supply of Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs.
